Join the Town of New Windsor Recreation Department for a day trip to Peddler’s Village in Lahaska, Pennsylvania for the annual Apple Festival. At the festival craftspeople gather to show their wares and demonstrate their skills as apples are served up in various forms like apple treats including country apple butter, apple cider, apple dumplings, apple fritters, and apples dipped in caramel. Take home a bushel fresh from the orchard. Live entertainment and pie-eating contests add to the festivities of this traditional autumn celebration. In addition to the vendors that set up, the village has over 70 upscale and unique shops and eight restaurants. Space is limited so do not hesitate, sign up today.
Date: November 6th, 2010 Day: Saturday Time: Bus leaves at 8am from the Marasco Center, returns at 7pm Ages: All Fee: $35 per person
