New Windsor Town Clerk and Receiver of Taxes Office Open This Weekend
New Windsor Town Clerk's Office & Receiver of Taxes will be open this Saturday, January 28, 2012 from 9am - 12noon for residents who cannot get to the offices during normal business hours.  A notary public will be available and all normal licenses from the Town Clerk can be obtained.  Residents may pay their County/Town tax bills as well.

Please be advised that the Town of New Windsor was notified of an extreme turbidity spike in the Ashokan Reservoir as a result of the storm on 12/6/2011.  Unfortunately the Town has no alternative but to return to the Silver Stream Reservoir (Browns Pond) for a short term until this turbidity subsides.  We will return to the Aqueduct supply as soon as practical, and keep all residents advisted.

Road Closures
Until further notice - Forge Hill Road is impassible between Blooming Grove Turnpike (Rt. 94) and Route 9W due to the bridge over Moodna Creek being washed out and collapse embankments. Local residents on Forge Hill Road (Canterbury lane & Staples Lane) can access their homes from Route 9W only.

Until further notice - Butternut Drive between Creamery Drive and Forge Hill Road is impassible due to the road being washed out and collapse of embankment.
