Garbage Collection
Pickup is once per week.
- Limit of six trash cans per residence
- Limit of ten trash cans per commercial site
Recyclable Collection
Pickup is every other week on the regular garbage collection day.
Grass Clippings, Leaves and Brush Collection
Pickup is every week alternating with recyclable collection.
- Branchces must be less than three inches in diameter, no longer than three feet in length, and must be tied in bundles.
Metal Collection
Pickups are Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
- No refrigerators, air conditioners, or freezers will be picked up. The items can be taken to the Orange County Transfer Station, Route 17k, Newburgh, or to All Recycle, South William Street, Newburgh.
- Poles should be no longer than four feet in length.
